Shipping Policy

Ames Performance continues to keep shipping rates as low as possible. We have developed a fair graduated scale. Additional oversize shipping charges will be added as noted in the catalog.

Standard Shipping Charges

Air Shipments

There are no surcharges for air shipments. However, UPS expedited charges will be applied to your order. Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, 3 Day select and Next Day Saturday delivery is available.

Truck Shipment

Due to the size or weight of certain items within the catalog there are some that are required to ship truck freight to a verified commercial address preferable with a loading dock. Unless otherwise noted on the invoice, the customer will be responsible for any accessorial charges incurred including lift gates, inside delivery, residential deliveries etc. As all shipment costs are based upon volume and weight, please contact us for an accurate quote on shipping. Upon receipt of your product the customer or there assignee is responsible for inspecting the entire order. Once signed for, the customer assumes full responsibility for the contents. Truck freight shipments are required to be prepaid at time of order.

Foreign Shipments

Foreign orders will be shipped via UPS Expedited, USPS, Fedex or DHL and be billed applicable shipping and handling charges. All foreign orders will be prepaid with a credit card or certified US funds. Taxes, duties and other fees vary by country and are the responsibility of the receiving party.

Show Deliveries

Save money by having Ames Performance bring your parts to you at one of the many shows we attend throughout the year. As always, show deliveries are free of shipping charges. Exceptions may include special order and drop ship items.
